Full job description

Join our team at Pathways4All and help us make a difference in the lives of disabled children, young people and their families.

Based at the Tim Lamb Centre in Newcastle, we are looking for a passionate, creative and enthusiastic Community & Events Fundraiser to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves bringing people together, building relationships and creating fundraising opportunities that make a genuine difference to our families.

About the Role

As our Community & Events Fundraiser, you will play a key role in developing our fundraising activity and increasing our presence within the local community.

You will:

Plan, organise and deliver fundraising events and campaigns
Lead our Great North Run fundraising activity and annual fundraising events
Develop relationships with local businesses, community groups, supporters and potential corporate partners
Identify new fundraising opportunities and develop creative ideas to generate income
Recruit, coordinate and support fundraising volunteers
Build strong and lasting relationships with donors and supporters
Promote fundraising campaigns and events through social media and other channels
Represent Pathways4All and the Tim Lamb Centre at community events and external activities
Work alongside our wider team to promote our services and charitable impact
Maintain accurate supporter and fundraising records.
Monitor fundraising targets and prepare reports on fundraising activity and outcomes
Support media, PR and awareness campaigns when required
Provide excellent customer service to our supporters, volunteers and community partners
Work as part of a team, including office duties and maintaining our facilities.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, organised and confident building relationships with a wide range of people.

You will ideally have:

Experience in fundraising, events, community engagement, marketing or relationship management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organisational and project management skills
A creative approach to fundraising and community engagement
Good IT and social media skills
Experience of developing relationships with businesses, community groups or supporters
The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
The ability to work as part of a passionate and supportive team
Experience using CRM or fundraising databases would be advantageous
Experience in PR, media or promotional campaigns would be desirable

Most importantly, you will be passionate about our charity and committed to helping us create positive opportunities for disabled children, young people and their families.

Pay: From £14.00 per hour
