Full job description

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable, hard working cleaner/housekeeper to join our team.

This is a weekend position with holiday and staff sickness during the week as and when needed, flexible cover essential.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, bathrooms and other designated spaces according to established standards.
Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and organized efficiently.
Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, towels, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for guests and staff.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to management for quick resolution.
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a clean and hazard-free environment.
Assist with laundry duties including washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels.
Support team members during busy periods by completing additional cleaning tasks as needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping role is preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
Proven ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
Ability to follow instructions carefully and adhere to safety procedures at all times.
Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment operation is advantageous.
