Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Trainee to join our growing team. This paid position offers valuable hands-on experience in sales, marketing strategies, and customer engagement within a professional environment. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, develop essential skills, and contribute to the growth of our organisation. A strong interest in business development and excellent communication skills are key to success in this role.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing customers
Support the sales team in conducting B2B and B2C sales activities, including outreach and relationship building with potential partners
Participate in organising promotional events, campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
Engage with clients via phone, email, or face-to-face meetings to promote products or services
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and follow-up tasks using organisational tools
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and optimise marketing efforts
Support the creation of marketing materials such as presentations, brochures, and social media content

Skills

Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence and persuade effectively
Excellent communication skills in English
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently and prioritise tasks
Customer service orientation with a professional attitude towards clients and colleagues
Basic driving skills are desirable for attending client meetings or promotional events
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge or interest in B2B sales processes is advantageous
Effective time management skills to balance multiple responsibilities simultaneously

Pay: £30,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
