Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Hairdresser to join our professional team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hair styling and barbering, with excellent customer service and communication skills. This role offers an opportunity to lead by example, mentor junior staff, and deliver exceptional hairdressing services in a welcoming environment. The Senior <PERSON> will be responsible for maintaining high standards of client care, ensuring client satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our salon. This position is fully paid and suitable for a motivated individual looking to advance their career within the hairdressing industry.

Responsibilities

Provide expert hair styling and barbering services tailored to individual client needs
Lead and supervise junior team members, offering guidance and mentorship
Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety within the salon environment
Build strong relationships with clients through personalised consultations and excellent customer service
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to optimise client flow and minimise wait times
Stay updated with the latest trends, techniques, and products in hairdressing and barbering
Assist in product sales by recommending suitable hair care products to clients
Uphold salon policies and procedures to ensure a professional working environment

Skills

Proven experience in customer service within a salon or barbering setting
Advanced skills in hair styling and barbering techniques
Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to mentor junior staff
Organised, reliable, and able to manage multiple appointments efficiently
Knowledge of current hair trends, colour techniques, and grooming styles
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
