Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dance teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various dance styles and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and inspiring students of all ages. As a Dance teacher you will play a crucial role in fostering a love for dance while developing students' skills and confidence in a supportive environment. We are an IDTA school so experience with this syllabus is preferred but not essential!

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored to the skill levels of students.
Teach various dance styles, including Jazz and Tap.
Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students to enhance their performance.
Organise and prepare students for exams, competitions, and showcases.
Maintain a positive and safe learning environment that promotes creativity and self-expression.
Collaborate with fellow instructors to develop curriculum and share best practices.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continually improve teaching methods.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Dance Teacher or in a similar role is preferred.
Strong proficiency in one or more dance styles.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching dance.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Relevant certifications or qualifications in dance instruction are an advantage but not mandatory.
A passion for fostering a love of dance among students of all ages.
