Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Previous restaurant experience is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic team dedicated to delivering memorable dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests warmly and take their orders accurately, ensuring prompt service throughout their visit
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with licensing laws and company standards
Serve food items efficiently, ensuring presentation and quality meet established guidelines
Maintain cleanliness of the bar and dining area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times
Manage cash register transactions accurately, including processing payments and issuing receipts
Restock supplies as needed, including glassware, utensils, and beverages
Engage with guests in a friendly manner to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat visits
Follow all health and safety protocols diligently, including responsible alcohol service

Experience

Previous experience in hospitality or food service environments or relevant experience is required.
Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods
Good basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively setting
Being reliable and flexible is a requirement.
