Full job description

IT Technician

37 hours per week

Salary: £24,500 – £28,000 per annum

(depending on experience)

Treetops Hospice provides nursing and therapeutic care alongside emotional support for anyone affected by a life-limiting illness in Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.

We are seeking a compassionate and technically skilled IT Technician to support in the digital infrastructure of the organisation. This role is essential in ensuring our staff and volunteers have secure, reliable access to systems that enable the delivery of high-quality community based palliative care and support services.

This position is ideal for a proactive IT Technician who has had experience in a similar role or environment. The successful candidate should have proven experience in an IT support or technician role as well as strong working knowledge of Active directory, Knowledge of power shell scripting, Microsoft 365, Intune, Windows 11 OS and networking. In addition, the ability to communicate with a patient, supportive manner and ability to work independently and on multiple projects is vital. Familiarity with TPP System One and Unifi would be desirable, along with experience in a charity, healthcare or social care environment. Must have a full UK drivers licence
