Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. Your expertise will contribute to creating durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing structures across various sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity for hands-on professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy bringing construction projects to life from start to finish.

Ideal candidate.

- knowledge in propping building including the use of needles and acros.

- understanding how buildings are taken apart to do structural alterations.

- installing steel whether it be structural beams or decorative architectural stairs etc.

- sometimes work in our farlington based workshop helping the manufacturing side produce the steel.

- is preferred to have a driving license and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform diverse construction tasks including carpentry, , masonry, plumbing, and painting to support project requirements.
Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete building activities.
Assist with fabrication of structural components and materials as needed for specific projects.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely progress while maintaining high quality workmanship.
Follow safety protocols diligently and maintain a clean worksite to prevent accidents or hazards.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project plans to execute tasks accurately.

Qualifications

Proven experience in general construction work with skills in carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, painting, welding, electrical work, or fabrication.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools essential for various building tasks.
Ability to read technical drawings and follow detailed instructions effectively.
Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites.
Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding manual labor over extended periods.
Relevant certifications or licenses in construction trades are a plus but not mandatory.
