Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with excel and sage accounts software and also possess strong data entry skills.

Reporting to: Financial Accountant

Duties include but not limited to:

Raising customer invoices and credit control
Authorising and reconciling supplier invoices and statements
P&L reviews
Bank reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Intercompany invoices
Payroll and pension processing
CIS returns and invoice processing
Journal entry
Producing & Developing reports
Adhoc administrative duties

Experience

IT skills essential, must be able to use Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel.
Competency with accounting package Sage is preferred.
Strong organisational and time management skills, and ability to multi-task
Ideally ACCA qualified or similar
CIS knowledge preferred but not essential
Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate records
Perfect for first step into industry from practice

Join us as an Accounts Assistant to contribute to our finance team and gain valuable experience in a dynamic work environment. This role is full time and office based. It is an open skilled role therefore salary range is wide and will be dependent on your experience. To ensure we get the right person for our unique expanding business we will consider; AAT qualified, ACCA/CIMA part or qualified (or equivalents), or qualified through experience candidates.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
