Job Overview
MS Bakery is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Baker to join our team. As a Baker, you will be responsible for producing a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of quality and food safety are maintained throughout the process. Your creativity and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delighting our customers with fresh, delicious products. The average shift pattern is 5 days a week - 9 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread & pastries.
Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in flavour and presentation.
Monitor the baking process to ensure products are cooked to perfection.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
Assist in the planning and development of new recipes and menu items.
Manage inventory of baking supplies and ingredients, ensuring stock levels are maintained.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Skills

Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and production.
Proficient in baking techniques and methods.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
A creative mindset with a passion for developing new recipes.
Previous experience in a restaurant or bakery environment is advantageous.
