Schlüter-Systems Ltd is the UK subsidiary of a German-founded international manufacturer of market-leading products for the construction industry.

We are looking for a Finance Administrator who will provide hands-on administrative and operational support that helps the finance function and wider business perform at its best.

What you will do:

The Finance Administrator ensures records, documentation, and internal processes are kept accurate and up to date, creating a smooth, organised, and compliant working environment for everyone.

You'll be responsible for:

Supporting the day-to-day operation of the finance function, including purchase order processing, supplier payments, and invoice management.
Managing purchase orders from creation through to approval, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the process.
Reviewing company credit card transactions
Resolving supplier queries or invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assisting with month-end, year-end, and audit activities to support accurate financial reporting.
Acting as a central point of support for managers and colleagues, helping coordinate day-to-day administrative activities.
Managing business correspondence, including emails, telephone enquiries, and incoming and outgoing post.
Maintaining accurate records, databases, filing systems, and business documentation.
Preparing and formatting reports, presentations, letters, and other documents to a professional standard.
Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements, including preparing agendas and taking minutes when required.
Creating a welcoming and professional experience for visitors and guests.
Supporting the HR team with onboarding activities and new starter preparation.
Managing office supplies and liaising with suppliers to ensure the workplace remains well-equipped and efficient.
Providing administrative support for the company's vehicle fleet and other operational activities.
Handling confidential information with discretion and maintaining high levels of accuracy at all times.
Supporting business projects and identifying opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and ways of working.
What you’ll bring:

You'll have strong attention to detail, great communication skills, and a positive, can-do attitude that helps keep the business running effectively every day.
Specific Job Skills
Previous experience in an accounts, finance or administration role
Good understanding of purchase ledger accounts processes (use of Sage200 preferred)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
