Full job description

We are looking for a qualified welder/fabricator to join our steel fabrication workshop team.

The main job role is the fabricating and welding of structural steel in general; manufacturing steel components as required dependent on the nature of the contract. This role may entail working on agricultural and/or industrial steel framed buildings, structural steelwork, doors, gates, barriers etc.

Ideally candidates should have:

Previous welding experience is highly desirable, ideally candidates will have been coded or at least be up to coding standards.
Experience in the use of tools used in the process of fabrication, such as: GEKA croppers and punch machine, brake press, band saw, pillar drill and other power tools such as grinders and magnetic drills
The ability to work as part of a team, producing work of a consistently high standard within the specified time frame.

Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Pay dependent on experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
