Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Commis Chef / Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at dual locations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a professional kitchen environment, contributing to the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in food preparation and cooking, with a keen eye for food safety standards. This position is suitable for individuals with previous kitchen or restaurant experience who are eager to grow within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of a variety of dishes according to menu specifications and standards
Ensure all food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly adhered to at all times
Support the head chef in maintaining organisation and cleanliness within the kitchen
Prepare ingredients for meal service, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
Contribute to the presentation of dishes to meet quality standards
Assist with stock control, including receiving deliveries and storing supplies appropriately
Maintain a clean and organised workstation throughout shifts
Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety regulations and hygiene standards
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in meal preparation and presentation
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Flexibility to work across different shifts and locations as required
A genuine passion for culinary arts and continuous learning within the hospitality sector
