Warehouse Operative

Company: Hames Chocolates Ltd.
Location: Skegness
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am start with variable finish times depending on business needs, average 40 – 45 hours per week

About the Role

Hames Chocolates Ltd. is looking for a reliable, hardworking, and motivated Warehouse Operative to join our warehouse team. This is a hands-on role involving all aspects of warehouse operations to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out all general warehouse duties.
Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately.
Receive, check, and store incoming goods.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment.
Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts where authorised.
Follow company procedures, schedules, and policies at all times.
Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and safe working practices.
Assist with stock control and inventory checks.
Support colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of warehouse operations.

Skills & Experience

Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
A valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence is preferred but not essential.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physically fit and capable of manual handling duties.
Reliable, punctual, and flexible with working hours when required.
Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
