Full job description

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying customer parts requirements, preparing and following up quotations, and converting enquiries into sales. Working closely with customers, franchise partners, and internal teams, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while contributing to sales growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Identify parts using relevant manuals, electronic catalogues, and online parts books.
Process customer orders, quotations, estimates, and enquiries received via telephone, email, and online channels.
Proactively follow up quotations and estimates to maximise conversion opportunities.
Review customer orders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Monitor and manage sales activity, quotations, and conversion rates.
Respond promptly and professionally to customer queries, providing effective solutions and support.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and franchise partners to support business growth.
Work closely with Supply Chain and Logistics teams to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Maintain accurate records and update parts systems as required.
Contribute to achieving departmental sales and gross profit targets.

Skills and Experience

Essential

Previous experience within a commercial parts sales environment.
Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Good IT skills with experience of parts management systems and online catalogues.
Ability to work accurately and methodically with strong attention to detail.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.
