Overview

Join our dynamic security team as a Security Officer and become a vital protector of our facilities, assets, and personnel. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe environment through vigilant surveillance, loss prevention strategies, and prompt response to incidents. Your proactive approach will ensure the safety and security of all visitors, staff, and property, fostering a secure atmosphere where everyone can thrive. Duties

Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems to detect suspicious activity and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Conduct regular surveillance patrols around the property to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
Implement loss prevention measures by observing customer behavior and identifying potential security risks.
Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, including providing first aid when necessary.
Maintain detailed records of security activities, incident reports, and surveillance logs to ensure accurate documentation.
Control access points by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors to prevent unauthorized entry.
Collaborate with local emergency responders during incidents to facilitate quick resolution and safety assurance.

Requirements

Proven experience in security or surveillance roles is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
Ability to operate CCTV cameras confidently and conduct visual inspections of the premises.
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and the ability to identify suspicious behavior effectively.
Certification or training in first aid is highly desirable to respond appropriately during medical emergencies.
Strong observational skills with keen attention to detail and situational awareness.
Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and visitors.
Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods while maintaining focus on surveillance duties.
