Overview

Join our vibrant educational environment as a School Cleaner, where your efforts will help create a safe, hygienic, and welcoming space for students, staff, and visitors. This vital role ensures that the school premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and safety, contributing directly to a positive learning atmosphere. We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented individuals who take pride in their work and understand the importance of a clean environment in fostering student success.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of classrooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, and common areas using commercial cleaning equipment and supplies
Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and carpet cleaning as needed
Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and other consumables to ensure availability at all times
Sanitize high-touch surfaces regularly to promote health and safety standards
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to the appropriate personnel
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations

Requirements

Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work preferred
Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and moving equipment or supplies
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
Excellent time management skills to complete daily tasks efficiently within scheduled hours
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper handling procedures for safety compliance
Reliable with a positive attitude and a proactive approach to maintaining hygiene standards
Prior experience in school or educational facility cleaning is a plus but not mandatory
