Full job description

Job Overview:

The Business Operations Administrator plays a key role in supporting the efficient day to day operations by providing administrative support across multiple departments including Accounts, HR, IT, Production and Health & Safety.

Responsibilities:

Processing supplier invoices through the accounts payable automation system, monitoring and chasing internal approvals where necessary, investigating discrepancies and posting invoices manually where exceptions occur
Managing accounts administrative duties such as, supplier set up, statement reviews, and reconciling
Reviewing, drafting, updating and maintaining company policies and procedures across Business Operations. Working with department managers to ensure documentation reflects business practices and current legislation.
Providing administrative support for business improvement and operational projects by creating action logs, following up on outstanding actions and creating documentation
Managing Meridian’s document control system and acting as the central administrator for Meridian’s management systems
Coordinating document reviews and version control. Communicating updated policies and procedures across the business.
Providing cover for the Shipping and Sales Coordinator role as required
Supporting with other business administration as required

Experience Required:

Previous experience in business administration or an operations administration role.
Experience processing Accounts Payable Invoices preferred
Experience drafting or developing policies and procedures and supporting with projects is essential
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Proven ability to support business improvement or operational projects.

High attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across multiple departments.
