Full job description

Bakers Ready Mix Concrete Ltd is a new and ambitious concrete supplier based in Leicester, offering both volumetric and ready-mix concrete services across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity to join at the start-up stage of an expanding business, with the chance to grow and develop alongside the company.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our new team. The successful candidate will potentially operate a concrete mixer. You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality concrete to our customers, maintaining excellent service standards, and supporting day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Safely operate HGV Class 2 concrete mixer vehicles

· Perform daily vehicle checks and maintenance reports.

· Communicate professionally with customers and the office via phone .

· Comply with Health & Safety, environmental, and transport regulations.

Requirements

· HGV Class 2 Licence (Essential)

· Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card (Essential)

· Previous experience driving concrete mixer (preferred)

· Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner

· Punctual, reliable, and able to work both independently and as part of a small team

Job Type: Full-time
