Job Summary

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately according to prescriptions and protocols
Prepare medication labels and organize prescriptions for patient pick-up or delivery
Verify prescription details, ensuring correct medication, dosage, and patient information
Support medication administration processes by providing necessary information to patients and healthcare providers
Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, inventory levels, and stock orders
Provide excellent patient care by answering questions, offering medication guidance, and addressing concerns with professionalism
Ensure compliance with pharmacy safety standards, confidentiality policies, and legal regulations at all times

Skills

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar healthcare support role is highly desirable
Strong knowledge of medication types, dosages, and administration procedures
Excellent attention to detail to prevent errors in dispensing and record keeping
Effective communication skills for interacting with patients, healthcare professionals, and team members
Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
