Overview

Join our team as an Instrumentation & Service Technician, where you'll play a vital role in assembling, maintaining and troubleshooting complex instrumentation systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will directly impact operational efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. We are seeking motivated individuals who thrive in hands-on environments and are eager to develop their technical skills.

The role will involve working both at our production facility and at customer sites across the UK and internationally.

Responsibilities

Assembly, essential functionality testing, servicing and installing upgrades of instrumentation systems in accordance with technical specifications and schematics.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using detailed schematics, CAD drawings, and PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming.
Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates at peak performance.
Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control system documentation to diagnose faults accurately.
Collaborate with clients to provide exceptional customer service.
Perform system upgrades and modifications by applying mechanical knowledge and electrical experience.
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and system modifications thoroughly for compliance and future reference.

Skills

Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge to understand equipment components and assemblies.
Experience working with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for automation control systems.
Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals accurately.
Solid background in electro mechanical systems maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
Excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to perform routine maintenance tasks while adhering to safety standards.
