Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of The Stores restaurant from mid September.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional hospitality. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety, and maintaining high standards in food preparation and service. The Restaurant Manager will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for both guests and staff while driving the success of the restaurant.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service and adherence to quality standards.
Lead, train, and motivate kitchen and front-of-house staff to deliver excellent customer service.
Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain efficient operations.
Develop and implement training programmes for new employees on food safety and service protocols.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints with professionalism and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures.
Collaborate with chefs to create seasonal menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and dining areas in accordance with health regulations.

Experience

Proven experience in a managerial role within the restaurant or hospitality industry is essential.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food preparation.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team management and supervising staff.
Familiarity with kitchen operations, including cooking techniques and equipment usage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both staff and customers.
A background in hotel or hospitality management is advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: £32,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
