Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal Injury Caseworker to join our legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing personal injury cases from inception through to resolution, ensuring all client needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your legal and organisational skills within a supportive environment. The position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to contribute to a dynamic legal practice specialising in personal injury claims.

Responsibilities

Managing a caseload of personal injury claims, ensuring timely progression through each stage of the process
Communicating effectively with clients, medical professionals, insurers, and other relevant parties
Organising and maintaining accurate case files using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Drafting correspondence, reports, and legal documents with precision and clarity
Scheduling appointments, court dates, and follow-up meetings whilst prioritising tasks to meet deadlines
Providing regular updates to clients regarding case progress and handling any enquiries professionally
Assisting with the preparation of case documentation for hearings or settlement negotiations
Ensuring compliance with relevant legal procedures and confidentiality requirements

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for document creation, data management, and correspondence organisation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
Good IT skills with the capacity to adapt to new software or case management systems as required
Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Fluency in English is essential for clear communication and documentation purposes
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team within a professional setting

This role is ideal for motivated individuals seeking to build a career within personal injury law while utilising their organisational and communication talents.

Option is available to become a Trainee Solicitor.

Pay: From £27,000.00 per year
