Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and comfort for our guests. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality and customer service to contribute to a welcoming environment.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
Ensure all public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms are kept tidy and presentable
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning
Follow health and safety procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages as required
Adhere to organisational standards for cleanliness, appearance, and guest privacy
Assist with laundry duties when necessary and ensure linen is stored properly
Maintain a professional and courteous attitude towards guests and colleagues at all times

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided
Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is desirable
Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and equipment is a plus
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing exceptional guest service

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
