We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shop Floor Assistant to join our friendly, family-run retail business. For over 35 years,

About the Role
We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Retail Shop Floor Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will help create a positive shopping experience by assisting customers, maintaining the sales floor, and ensuring products are well-stocked and attractively displayed.

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers with their enquiries.
Replenish shelves and ensure products are displayed neatly.
Keep the shop floor clean, organised, and safe.
Assist with stock deliveries and inventory management.
Operate the till and process customer purchases (where required).
Support promotional activities and merchandising displays.
Work as part of a team to achieve sales and customer service goals.

Requirements

Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Friendly, positive, and approachable attitude.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good teamwork and organisational skills.
Previous retail experience is an advantage but not essential, as training will be provided.
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays where required.
