Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and versatile General Assistant to support daily operations within our busy soft play centre. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and a friendly demeanour. This role offers an opportunity to gain valuable experience in a dynamic environment, working closely customers and their children. The candidate will dress up as a given character princess such as Elsa, Anna or another Disney character. The candidate will be able to host a party and act as the character and give a performance e.g. singing, princess classes. Training and Routine will be given but experience in acting and singing is essential.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, ensuring positive first impressions
Assist with merchandising tasks, including stock organisation and display setup to optimise sales
Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling enquiries or taking orders, booking parties or any other queries ensuring clear and friendly communication
Support sales through upselling products or services where appropriate, enhancing customer experience and revenue opportunities
Maintain organised workspaces and ensure the cleanliness of the premises
Manage time efficiently to complete tasks within designated schedules
Support team members with administrative duties such as data entry or filing as required
Assist with organising events or promotional activities as needed
Must use initiative in a fast pace environment
To be able to host parties with great enthusiasm
Make public announcements to a venue full of customers
Able to support and assist customers to ensuring that they have the best experience7
Dress and become a Princess Character - entertain guests by staying in-character and engaging with adults and children.
To perform songs and other character related duties

Qualifications:

Experience with performing and singing in front of an audience
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic maths skills for handling transactions and stock counts
Good time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
Friendly phone etiquette with the ability to upsell products or services tactfully

This position offers an engaging environment for motivated individuals eager to contribute positively while developing their professional skills. Pay is National Minimum Wage on the reflection of age.
