Full job description

Estate Agent / Sales Negotiator

Location: Hockley, Essex
Full Time: Monday to Saturday (with one weekday off in lieu)

We are a long-established, independent estate agency based in Hockley, with an excellent local reputation and a friendly, supportive team. Due to continued success, we are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Estate Agent / Sales Negotiator to join us.

The Role

As part of our sales team, you will play a key role in helping buyers and sellers throughout the property sales process. Your responsibilities will include:

Contacting existing and prospective clients by telephone to advise them of new property listings.
Arranging and conducting in person property viewings with potential buyers.
Negotiating offers between buyers and sellers to achieve successful sales.
Building strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
Keeping accurate records and updating our property database.

About You

The ideal candidate will be:

Friendly, very confident and professional.
An excellent communicator with strong telephone and face-to-face skills.
Self-motivated and able to work well both independently and as part of a team.
Organised, smart, proactive and customer-focused.
Previous estate agency or direct sales experience is preferred but not essential for the right candidate with the right attitude.

Essential Requirements

Full UK driving licence.
Use of your own vehicle for business purposes.
Willingness to work Monday to Saturday, with one weekday off in lieu.
