Job Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and proactive CCTV Control Room Operator to oversee surveillance operations within our security control center. In this dynamic role, you will monitor live video feeds, ensure the safety of premises, and respond swiftly to incidents. Your keen eye for detail and commitment to security will help maintain a safe environment for staff, visitors, and assets. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of security operations, ensuring continuous surveillance coverage and effective incident management.

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor multiple CCTV cameras to oversee designated areas in real-time, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
Conduct regular visual inspections through camera tours to verify security integrity and identify potential hazards or suspicious activities.
Document incidents accurately through detailed report writing, including descriptions of events, actions taken, and follow-up recommendations.
Respond promptly to alarms or alerts generated by surveillance systems or security personnel, coordinating appropriate actions.
Maintain meticulous records of surveillance activities, shift logs, and incident reports for accountability and review.
Assist in emergency situations by providing first aid when necessary and coordinating with emergency responders as required.
Collaborate with security team members to develop and implement surveillance protocols that enhance overall safety.

Qualifications

Proven experience in surveillance operations or security monitoring is preferred.
Strong report writing skills with the ability to document incidents clearly and accurately.
Knowledge of CCTV systems, alarm systems, and basic troubleshooting techniques.
Ability to remain alert and attentive during long shifts while maintaining high levels of concentration.
Basic first aid certification or willingness to obtain training upon hire.
Excellent communication skills for effective coordination with team members and emergency responders.
