Full job description

Athena Worksurfaces is a leading name in the design, manufacture, and supply of high-quality work surfaces. We take pride in our craftsmanship, innovation, and commitment to exceptional customer care. We are now seeking an Accounts Assistnt to join our professional and dedicated team.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the accounts department.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Ledger Invoicing: Generate and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Support and help manage accounts payable and receivable
Reconcile bank statements and financial transactions
Assist with invoice preparation and distribution
Maintain accurate financial records and filing systems
Support month-end and year-end reporting activities
Chase invoicing and Debt as and when required
Perform general administrative duties

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar accounting or finance role
Familiarity Sage 50
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
AAT qualification or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
