Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Roofer and play a vital role in creating durable, weather-resistant roofs that protect buildings and their occupants. This energetic position involves working on diverse roofing projects, utilizing a variety of tools and techniques to deliver high-quality results. Whether installing new roofs or repairing existing structures, you'll be part of a dedicated crew committed to safety, craftsmanship, and efficiency. Responsibilities

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise installation and repair of roofing systems
Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to cut, shape, and install roofing materials
Perform heavy lifting of materials such as shingles, metal panels, and insulation to facilitate efficient project progress
Execute roofing tasks including waterproofing, sealing, flashing installation, and ventilation setup with attention to detail
Assist with carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or other related trades as needed for integrated roofing solutions
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling hazardous materials
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality standards are met

Skills

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings for accurate project execution
Experience with welding, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, plumbing or related construction skills
Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools specific to roofing applications
Knowledge of roofing materials such as shingles, metal panels, membranes, and insulation products
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
Strong understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations
Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
