Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Subcontractor Painter and bring vibrant, high quality finishes to a variety of construction and renovation projects. In this role, you'll be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes with precision and professionalism, ensuring each project meets our high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your craftsmanship while working independently or as part of a dedicated subcontracting team. Your expertise will help transform spaces into visually stunning environments that clients will love.

Responsibilities

Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
Apply paints, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, sprayers, or other tools with attention to detail
Follow project specifications and safety guidelines diligently to deliver consistent results on time
Communicate effectively with project managers and clients to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste responsibly
Conduct quality checks throughout the process to ensure smooth application and flawless finishes
Drive between multiple job sites safely and efficiently to meet project deadlines

Experience

Proven experience in construction painting or related trades, demonstrating skill in surface preparation and finishing techniques
Valid driving license with a clean driving record for reliable transportation between sites
Strong communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and coordinate effectively with team members and clients
Knowledge of safety procedures relevant to construction sites and painting activities
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of quality
Familiarity with various painting tools, equipment, and materials used in professional painting projects
