Overview

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join our amazing team. Initially working in KS1, you will be working alongside teachers and other teaching assistants to support teaching and learning in Year 1 and/or Year 2.

Salary: Bucks Pay Range 2: 11-15, Actual salary £18.619-£21,272 (depending on experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Part time 32.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, term time only, 8.30 am-3.30 pm (½ hour lunch break)

About the role

As a Teaching Assistant you would:

Work closely alongside a class teacher and year group leader to support teaching and learning in the classroom
Work with small groups and individual children across the curriculum
Teach Read Write Inc phonics sessions
Supervise children and support their play at playtime and lunchtime
Support class teachers to ensure a positive, safe learning environment
Prepare and maintain classroom materials, resources and displays

GSCE English C or equivalent
GSCE Maths C or equivalent
