Full job description

HGV Technician | OTE: £50,000

· Cossington, Leicester

· From £19 per hour + overtime = OTE: £50,000

· £1,500 annual tooling allowance

RH Commercial Vehicles is looking for skilled HGV Technicians to join our growing workshop teams.

Working within our modern, recently refurbished workshop environment, you’ll maintain a variety of trucks and vans while benefiting from ongoing manufacturer training, excellent earning potential and genuine opportunities to progress your career.

Shift Pattern:

· 40 hours a week, alternating shifts

· Early Shift: Monday – Friday: 06:00 – 14:30

· Late Shift: Monday – Friday: 13:30 – 22:00

· Alternate Saturday: 06:00 – 12:00 (paid at overtime)

What You’ll be Doing

· Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial vehicles

· Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs efficiently

· Complete work to DVSA and manufacturer standards

· Using diagnostic equipment and workshop systems

· Supporting apprentices and wider team

· Keeping up to date with technical developments and training.

What We’re Looking for:

· Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Commercial Vehicle Repair or equivalent

· Experience working on commercial vehicles such as Trucks and Vans

· Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills

· Full driving licence

· Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Skills:

· Main dealer experience

· HGV Licence

· Renault Trucks or Isuzu Trucks experience
