Summary of Warehouse Operative Position:

The Encore Group are the UK’s largest independent manufacturer of printed envelopes. We also have a thriving, rapidly growing Packaging Solutions business and also a Commercial Print arm.

Encore Envelopes is part of The Encore Group and has been at the forefront of the envelope industry for over 30 years. We’re proud to say we produce over 70,000,000 bespoke pieces every week, all made and transported with sustainability in mind.

Our aim is to provide a quality product to the individual requirements of our customers, to specification and on time, every time.

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to work within the warehouse whilst carrying out general warehouse duties.

Duties & Responsibilities of Warehouse Operative:

Loading and unloading of vehicles in a timely and safe way
To ensure stock is picked & despatched accurately
To ensure incoming goods are checked against delivery notes & located correctly
To ensure all stock is in excellent condition before leaving Encore
Reporting any problems, accidents or discrepancies to the Manager
Ensuring accuracy of data specifically delivery notes & stock movement records
Maintaining complete safety of yourself & all other employees and visitors at all times
General warehouse duties and house keeping

To be successful in this role, you must have a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence. Ideally, the candidate will also a Flexi Truck Licence.

This role would suit a driven individual who is looking for a career in a skilled manual role with the below skills:

A basic level of Microsoft Office and IT skills
Ability to work on own initiative
Punctual and reliable
Flexibility and enthusiasm to all tasks undertaken
Effective communication skills with a variety of different levels of colleagues
Organisational and time management skills

Job Details & Benefits:

Permanent position
Working hours Mon-Fri 11:00 to 19:00 working 40 hours per week
