Job Title: Emergency Response Plumber (4 On / 4 Off Shift)
Location: Bedfordshire and surrounding areas

Job Type: Full-Time, Shift-Based (4 Days On / 4 Days Off)

About the Role

We are currently looking for two reliable and skilled plumbers to join our team, covering the Bedfordshire surrounding areas This role involves working on a back-to-back shift pattern (4 days on, 4 days off) providing essential services on a home emergency contract.

As an Emergency Response Plumber, you will attend domestic properties to diagnose and repair urgent plumbing issues, ensuring customers receive a fast, professional, and high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emergency plumbing call-outs in domestic properties
Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs (leaks, burst pipes, blockages, etc.)
Deliver excellent customer service in high-pressure situations
Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with industry standards
Maintain accurate job records and reports
Work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure smooth service delivery

Requirements

Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent)
Full, clean UK driving licence
Clear DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
Proven experience in domestic plumbing, ideally in an emergency or reactive environment
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
Good communication and customer service skills
Flexibility to work a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, including weekends
