We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Home Care Worker to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide personalised care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting independence, well-being, and quality of life. Your enthusiasm and leadership will help create a positive environment for those in need of senior care or assistance with daily activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives while developing your skills in care provision and supervision.

Duties

Deliver high-quality personal care including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
Support clients with medication management and adherence to individual care plans.
Assist with daily household tasks such as meal preparation, light cleaning, and shopping errands.
Supervise and motivate clients to engage in social activities and maintain their independence.
Maintain accurate records of care provided, updates on client progress, and any incidents or concerns.
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
Use IT tools to update care plans, document visits, and schedule appointments efficiently.

Qualifications

Valid driving license with reliable access to a vehicle for client visits.
Experience working in care homes or providing senior care is highly desirable.
Supervising experience or leadership skills that enable effective support and guidance.
Knowledge of developing and following detailed care plans tailored to individual needs.
Excellent communication skills to build trustful relationships with clients and team members.
Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and scheduling purposes.
Ability to work independently while demonstrating a caring, empathetic attitude towards clients.
