Company Overview

Food Train is a registered charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people. Since 1995, we have been committed to making daily life easier for those who are no longer able to manage independently by providing vital grocery delivery services and support.
Summary

We are seeking a volunteer shopper in Falkirk. As a shopper, you will play a crucial role in helping us deliver essential groceries to those in need, embodying our mission to support vulnerable communities with compassion and reliability.

Responsibilities

8am start in a local supermarket
Shopping for and checking customer's shopping orders ensuring best dates possible
Putting all orders through the till and packing ready for delivery
Completion of any required paperwork
Maintaining confidentiality
Uniform and ID badge will be provided
Handle groceries with care during transportation to maintain freshness
Follow food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
Qualifications
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
A compassionate attitude towards supporting older and vulnerable individuals.
