About Oasis Plants
Oasis Plants is a fast-growing commercial planting company delivering high-quality living plants, artificial planting, preserved moss walls, exterior planting and seasonal displays to offices, hotels, restaurants and other commercial environments across the UK.
We're looking for a South Install Team Member to join our growing installation team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in what they do and wants to develop their skills within a growing business.
The Role
You'll work as part of our installation team, travelling to client sites across London, the South East and occasionally further afield to deliver and install commercial planting projects.
No previous plant installation experience is essential - we're happy to train the right person. However, experience in construction, landscaping, fit-out, property maintenance, logistics, events or another hands-on trade would be highly advantageous.
The role can involve early starts, occasional late finishes, weekend work, overtime, extensive travel and overnight stays away from home.
When staying away is required, Oasis Plants provides accommodation.
What You'll Be Doing
Your responsibilities will include:
- Installing living and artificial plants in commercial environments.
- Installing planters, pots and planting displays.
- Installing preserved moss and foliage walls.
- Installing exterior planting schemes.
- Installing seasonal displays, including Christmas trees.
- Following installation drawings, plans and briefs.
- Loading and unloading plants, planters, tools and materials.
- Safely moving and positioning heavy or awkward items.
- Using hand and power tools.
- Working at height where appropriately trained.
- Using access equipment where appropriately qualified.
- Protecting client premises during installation.
- Completing final styling and presentation of installations.
- Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe.
- Carrying out basic problem solving on site.
- Working professionally around clients, customers and other contractors.
- Completing vehicle checks and helping keep company vehicles clean and organised.
- Preparing jobs and materials in the warehouse when required.
- Following all company and site-specific health & safety procedures.
- Supporting other members of the installation team to complete projects on time and to a high standard.
Travel & Overnight Stays
This is an important part of the role.
You will regularly travel to different client sites and must be comfortable with:
- Travelling throughout London and the South East.
- Occasional travel elsewhere in the UK.
- Early morning starts.
- Occasional late finishes.
- Occasional weekend work.
- Working away from home.
- Staying away overnight when required.
- Potentially staying away for several consecutive nights during larger projects.
Accommodation is provided by Oasis Plants when overnight stays are required.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence.

- Ability to work professionally on commercial/client sites.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience

- Banksman / Vehicle Marshal
- Relevant construction, landscaping or trade qualifications
Experience in any of the following is also desirable:
- Commercial installation
- Construction
- Fit-out
- Landscaping
- Horticulture
- Property maintenance
- Joinery
- Drylining
- Events/exhibitions
- Logistics
- Warehouse work
- Other practical or trade-based roles

Working Hours
Monday–Friday: 7:00am–3:30pm
The role is subject to flexibility depending on project requirements, including occasional:
- Overtime
- Early starts
- Late finishes
- Weekend work
- Overnight stays
