Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Care Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality personal care and support to individuals in care homes or home care settings. Responsibilities

Assist residents or clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and dignity
Support individuals with their care plans, ensuring all personal needs are met efficiently and respectfully
Maintain accurate records of care provided, including documentation related to health, medication, and progress notes
Communicate effectively with residents, family members, healthcare professionals, and team members to ensure coordinated care
Use your driving skills to transport clients safely to appointments or outings when required
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to create a safe environment for everyone
Utilize IT systems for recording care activities, updating records, and accessing relevant information quickly and securely

Skills

Strong communication skills in English to connect empathetically with residents and team members
Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately and adapt to individual needs
Good IT literacy for managing electronic records and documentation efficiently
Valid driving license and experience driving safely in various conditions (nice-to-have)
Experience working in a care home or providing home care services (preferred)
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly
Knowledge of health and safety regulations relevant to care environments
