The Drey, a pre-opening boutique hotel at 1 Barkston Gardens, Earl's Court, features 125 tech-enabled rooms set within a characterful historic building in West London. Designed for modern travellers, it combines the comfort of a premium hotel with the flexibility of local living. Just minutes from Earl's Court station, The Drey offers seamless digital check-in and contactless access, with no front desk or on-site dining. Instead, it connects guests to the neighbourhood through curated partnerships with local businesses.

We are currently recruiting for a Guest Experience Assistant to join our Truly Talented team.

Reporting directly to Front Office Manager, this is an exciting role for a talented individual looking for a new challenge and wanting to join a fast-paced, hardworking team environment.

Your role

As a Guest Experience Assistant, you will provide courteous and efficient service to all guests and maintain the levels of service to the highest standards at all times.

You will be responsible for greeting guests in a warm, friendly manner and be a true ambassador for excellent service, dealing with all requests and queries in an efficient and professional manner, whether face-to-face or over the telephone.

You’ll work in a busy and hardworking team environment, where you’ll continually learn and develop.

Responsibilities of a Guest Experience Assistant will include but are not limited to:

To be totally guest focused by consistently delivering excellent customer service with an informed, friendly and effective approach;
To gain experience in all sections of the front desk department and ensure company and legal requirements are maintained;
To promote the company values and behaviours at all times.

The ideal person for this role will be enthusiastic about change, focused on details and trusting.

The core skills and experience required to succeed

Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry;
Previous experience as a receptionist is preferred but not necessary;
Ability to understand our guests’ needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories;
Excellent personal presentation;
Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision;
Excellent communication skills, the ability to communicate verbally and in writing;
To be an enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.

You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
