Farrington Care Homes Ltd is a respected provider of residential, nursing, and dementia care services, operating care homes across the UK. We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our team at Woodlands Residential Care Home in Earith.

Important Information

This position is offered on a self-employed basis.

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents by providing high-quality care and support tailored to their individual needs.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering compassionate and person-centred care to residents.
Assisting with personal care and daily living activities.
Supporting residents to maintain their independence, dignity, and choice.
Administering medication in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Monitoring residents' wellbeing and reporting any concerns appropriately.
Building positive relationships with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
Following care plans and maintaining accurate records.
Ensuring the highest standards of safeguarding, confidentiality, and professional conduct are maintained at all times.

Previous experience working within a residential care, nursing home, or elderly care environment.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
A flexible and dependable attitude.

Qualifications

Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable.
Candidates without this qualification may still apply, as training and development opportunities may be available for suitable applicants.
