Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hotel Operations Manager to oversee daily hotel functions, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of hospitality standards, and the ability to manage diverse teams. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of a reputable hotel by maintaining high standards of service, supervising staff, and implementing strategic initiatives. Fluency in multiple languages is highly desirable to enhance guest interactions and team communication.

Duties

Oversee all aspects of hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage services, and maintenance.
Lead, supervise, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding guest service whilst fostering a positive working environment.
Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and guest satisfaction.
Manage guest relations, addressing complaints promptly and ensuring resolutions that uphold the hotel's reputation.
Coordinate with human resources on recruitment, training programmes, performance appraisals, and staff development initiatives.
Monitor financial performance, control budgets, and optimise revenue streams through strategic planning.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, licensing laws, and quality standards across all departments.
Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
Foster relationships with local suppliers and partners to enhance service offerings.
Promote a culture of continuous improvement through staff training programmes centred on hospitality excellence.

Skills

Proven experience in hotel management or a similar hospitality leadership role.
Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple departments simultaneously.
Exceptional communication skills; fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
In-depth knowledge of human resources practices within the hospitality sector.
Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services consistently.
Leadership qualities that inspire team cohesion and high performance standards.
Proficiency in hotel management software systems and MS Office applications.
Ability to handle stressful situations calmly whilst maintaining professionalism at all times.

This role is ideal for a motivated leader passionate about hospitality excellence who thrives in a fast-paced environment centred on delivering memorable guest experiences while ensuring smooth operational functioning.

Pay: £26,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
