Junior Health & Safety Consultant

We are an established Health & Safety consultancy based in Strood, Kent, supporting a diverse range of clients across construction, commercial and corporate environments. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit a motivated and ambitious Junior Health & Safety Advisor & Trainer to join our expanding team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in Health & Safety within a supportive and professional consultancy environment. Full support will be provided to help you grow your skills and progress within the business.

Salary: £30000 - £35000; with a good package and rising as experience is gained

‪The Role:

Working alongside experienced consultants, you will support our clients in developing and maintaining effective health and safety management systems.

Your responsibilities will include:

Providing health and safety advice and support to clients.
Assisting with the development and review of health and safety policies and procedures.
Conducting workplace inspections, audits and DSE assessments.
Supporting clients with risk assessments and safe systems of work.
Assisting with accident and incident investigations and recommending improvements.
Maintaining accurate health and safety documentation and training records.
Delivering health and safety training and toolbox talks where appropriate.
Supporting fire safety arrangements, inspections and drills.
Assisting clients in meeting their legal health and safety obligations.
Providing administrative support to ensure compliance systems are maintained.
Undertaking other reasonable duties as required.

About You:

Confident communicating with clients at all levels.
Willing to learn and develop professionally.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable travelling to client sites.

Essential Qualifications

NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Level 3 Occupational Health & Safety qualification.
CSCS Card.
Full UK Driving Licence.

Desirable Qualifications

PTTLS, AET or other recognised training qualification.
Fire Risk Assessment qualification.
First Aid at Work qualification.
