Overview

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook food items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality across your designated section
Oversee the food preparation process, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene at all times
Collaborate with the head chef and team members to coordinate meal preparation and service flow
Assist in the development of new recipes and menu items, bringing creative ideas to life in the kitchen
Ensure all ingredients are stored properly, rotated regularly, and used efficiently to minimize waste
Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work station according to health regulations
Serve dishes promptly and professionally to ensure guest satisfaction during service hours

Experience

Proven experience in a professional kitchen setting, ideally within a restaurant environment
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary practices
Hands-on experience with meal preparation and cooking across various cuisines or styles
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in hygiene management
Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork is essential
Ability to follow recipes accurately while also demonstrating creativity in presentation and flavor combinations
Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams

Pay: £18,500.00-£28,500.00 per year
