Full job description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and qualified Pharmacy Dispenser to join our friendly and professional team at Oakley Pharmacy in Oakley Vale, Corby. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care and excellent customer service within a busy community pharmacy.

Key Responsibilities

Accurately dispensing prescriptions under the supervision of the pharmacist.
Providing excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals.
Managing prescription queries and assisting with the efficient running of the dispensary.
Maintaining accurate patient medication records.
Supporting stock management, ordering, and storage of medicines.
Ensuring compliance with pharmacy procedures, regulations, and confidentiality requirements.
Assisting with pharmacy services and promoting healthy living initiatives where appropriate.

Essential Requirements

Qualified Pharmacy Dispenser (NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent).
Previous experience working in a community pharmacy setting.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.

Desirable Requirements

Accredited Medicines Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification.
Experience using pharmacy dispensing systems.
Knowledge of NHS pharmacy services.
