Full job description

Painter & Decorator

Location: Newton Aycliffe
Rate: £22.00 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: Approximately 5 Weeks
Hours: 39 hours per week, with weekend work available

Edge Contracting are recruiting for experienced Painters & Decorators to join a project in Newton Aycliffe

This is an excellent opportunity for reliable painters looking for around 5 weeks of work, with the potential to increase earnings through weekend overtime.

Duties

Applying emulsion to walls and ceilings.
Glossing woodwork, including doors, skirting boards and frames.
Preparing surfaces prior to painting.
Filling, sanding and making good where required.
Maintaining a clean and tidy working area.
Working to a high standard of finish.
Following all site health and safety procedures.

Requirements

Valid CSCS Card
Previous painting and decorating experience.
Own brushes, rollers and painting tools.
Full PPE.
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently or as part of a team.

What's on Offer

£22.00 per hour.
Approximately 5 weeks' work.
39 hours per week.
Potential weekend work available.
Immediate start with a well-established contractor.
