Full job description

The Role:

We are looking for a Skilled Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver to join our manufacturing site in Crick, Northamptonshire. This is a permanent position available on days shift.

Role Details

4 on / 4 off shift pattern (12hour shifts)
This shift pattern offers predictability, extended rest periods, and the ability to plan time outside of work.
Average of 42 hours per week
Days: 06:00 - 18:00
Nights Hourly rate: £16.09 (£14.79 plus a shift allowance of £1.30 per hour)

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative / FLT Driver

Supply production departments with raw and packaging materials to maintain a continuous production programme
Transport finished goods from production areas to the warehouse for storage until despatch
Unload incoming vehicles as required and store materials following acceptance and GRN generation
Pick and assemble loads for despatch and load outgoing vehicles in line with despatch paperwork
Work safely at all times, following health and safety policies and procedures and raising any concerns through appropriate channels
Ensure the FLT fleet is fit for purpose by completing preuse documentation and reporting any vehicle or plant damage according to procedure
Participate in training and support the development of colleagues when required, including acting as a mentor for new team members

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Experience in a similar warehouse or manufacturing role
Valid FLT licence with counterbalance or reach truck experience is essential (certification required)
A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills
Ability to understand, communicate, and report clearly in English
