About the Role

This is a flexible role working across our supported accommodation and outreach services. You will play a key role in supporting young people towards independence whilst helping maintain high standards across our homes and services.

You will:

Support young people to attend appointments and engage with services.
Help young people develop independence and life skills.
Provide practical and emotional support.
Work across multiple services and locations as required.
Support operational tasks within our homes.
Assist with audits, compliance checks and quality assurance activities.
Support and mentor support workers and new starters.
Complete reports, records and documentation.
Contribute ideas to help improve and develop services.
Provide flexible cover where required, including occasional evenings and weekends.

Supporting Young People

Build positive and trusting relationships with young people
Support emotional wellbeing, routines, education, and life skills
Promote independence, confidence, and positive outcomes
Support young people through difficult moments with calm and therapeutic practice

Team Support

Support and guide Support Workers
Model high standards of care and professional practice
Promote a positive and supportive team culture

Safeguarding & Compliance

Follow safeguarding and child protection procedures
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Support compliance with supported accommodation Regulations and Quality Standards
Support incident management and reporting where required

Essential Requirements

✔ Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care, Children & Young People, or willingness to work towards one
✔ Experience with young people within supported accommodation, housing, social care or a related setting.
✔ Experience supporting young people with complex or challenging behaviours.
✔ Good safeguarding knowledge
✔ Full UK manual driving licence
✔ Ability to work independently and use initiative.
✔ 22 years old or above in line with regulatory guidance
