Full job description

Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Chef to join our small team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality pizzas along side the head pizza chef, ensuring all dishes meet our standards. This is an opportunity to be a part of a new and growing brand.

Duties

Prepare pizza dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients according to established recipes and specifications.
Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and comply with health and safety regulations
Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure consistent quality and presentation
Assist in menu development by suggesting new pizza flavours and styles
Maintain stock levels of ingredients and notify management of shortages
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy periods
Adhere strictly to food safety standards and hygiene practices at all times
Take orders from in-house customers

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar role within a restaurant or catering environment is a must
Knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making is highly desirable
Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in a commercial kitchen setting
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask effectively
A passion for food presentation and delivering exceptional dining experiences
