Full job description

Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Mobile Security Officer and become the frontline guardian of safety and security across various locations. In this energetic role, you will patrol designated areas, monitor surveillance systems, and respond swiftly to incidents to ensure a secure environment for staff, visitors, and assets. Your proactive approach and keen observation skills will help prevent loss, manage conflicts effectively, and uphold the highest standards of security. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference while developing your expertise in security operations.

Duties

Conduct regular patrols of assigned sites using CCTV surveillance systems and physical inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
Monitor security cameras (CCTV) and alarm systems to maintain constant awareness of the environment
Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, coordinating with law enforcement or emergency services as needed
Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, ensuring safety for all parties involved
Perform loss prevention activities by observing suspicious behavior and deterring theft or vandalism
Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, assisting injured individuals until professional help arrives
Document all incidents thoroughly through detailed reports and logs for future reference and investigations

Qualifications

Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable
Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to obtain these certifications is expected
Strong surveillance skills with experience operating CCTV systems and other security technology
Excellent conflict management abilities with a calm and assertive demeanor in high-pressure situations
Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and emergency response procedures
Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for extended periods while maintaining focus on surroundings
Effective communication skills to interact professionally with team members, visitors, and emergency responders
